motorola model 250 FR
I had one years passed and lost it while hunting. When I saw several listing at what I thought was
a huge price. This radio model is a few years old and the ones I have purchased on EBay have a
few problems and I have tried to repair some with parts from others, The first one I purchased about
20 year ago for $5.00 at Comp USA it was used but worked well until I lost it. The new models have
a wider range of 22 miles while the model 250 has only 2 miles. The short range is good and I
have less traffic. I see the same model 250's listed and seem to never sell at the high prices these
seller think they can get. I just hope to find a nice one with a good price ($20 or less). Some seller
say they will not take returns so I get a little weary when I see that statement. I am about to give
up and just buy a pair of modern handheld units for about $20.00. This statement goes for all
of the radios I have purchased in the last few months.
