The perfect balance between sharp and beautiful

This lens is the perfect blend of sharpness and character. Some lenses are tack sharp but feel very clinical. This is not one of those lenses. It renders beautiful, life-like images.

Character, not clinical

This has quickly become one of my favorite lenses for all around shooting. It's fast, light and has a wonderful character. Now, sometimes when people say "character" they're trying to find a nice way to talk about the flaws of a lens, but that's not what I mean. Sure, if you want to magnify and look at pixels this lens isn't going to be a sharp corner to corner as a Zeiss Otis, but that's not what this lens is about. It is not clinically sharp, but it's just sharp enough. Nail focus and you'll see what I mean. Instead what you get is a nice, life-like rendering that is pleasing to look at, which, after all, is what I generally want to do with photos.
