Pipes And Drums (CD 1997)
I decided to buy it because i like listening to pipe bands and this one with an organ accompanying it sounded interesting. i love it because it has all of the old favourite tunes done in a different way and with some tunes i had never heard of before. The only thing to dislike about the CD was the fact that there was no information on any of the band members who played each set of tunes.

Transglobal Underground "Psychic Karaoke"
I was looking for a few tracks from Transglobal Underground from the feature film "King Girl" so i thought that i would buy this album to see if they were in it. Unfortunatelly they were not. I like most of the album though apart from one tracvk which i cannot remember off heart right now. I will be trying for more Transglobal Underground albums in the future.

The Day of the Triffids DVD
A film i wanted for a long time and could not wait till it came out on DVD. A bit tame by todays suspense films but is now just enjoyable for the cast. I would not class the film as "scary" by todays standards, the views of the "man eating plants" could do with updating. The scenes on the island are a bit stupid. I did not realise when i first watched it. The way to kill off the Triffids is by using "sea water" so how do they survive on an island being pounded by sea water day after day?
