Poor wireless receiver. Don't get it if you plan on using it as a repeater.
1 of 2 found this helpful Trying to use it as a wireless repeater to extend my home network. Sets up just fine inside my house. But outside just a little way away from the house it can't find my wireless network even though my phone and tablet have no problems connecting to the same network in the same location. Does not do me any good if I have to have it right at the house in order to make it work.

Stay away from these extruded filters. They are not optical quality.
Look for the framed ones. The framed ones are also low priced and much better clarity. Why waste dive time on substandard filters.

Perfect identical to the original.
I bought this instead of the optional remote switch because I installed in a dash and did not need very much wire. The optional remote switch simply wires in parallel to the original switch. So if you are a bit handy you can do it for less.
