WORKED AS EXPECTED

Innacurate
It is not as advertised.
The designation XWFE is not as advertised.
The "E" in this filter indicates it is the new electronic replacement for the previous filter XWF.
Yes, it says NO CHIP, but without the chip*, then the E in XWFE is totally inaccurate.
* And, there is NO CHIP to begin with. The original OEM filter in this refrigerator, also, does not have a chip, but what it has is a printed electronic circuit on the backside of the label.
Without it, when installed, you only get an ERROR message, but no water.
THIS WILL NOT WORK IN CURRENT GE REFRIGERATORS using the XWFE designation.
