Nice but is it 3x?
I have given this 3 stars because it was advertised as 3x viewer when it appears to be only a 2x viewer, something clearly printed on just about every side of the box it came in despite a 3x sticker added to the box. However, it is a very nice viewer, light, well made, solid and very comfortable to hold for long periods when sorting through hundreds of old slides. My ancient and defunct 3x viewer took 4 C batteries and was actually quite heavy to use. So a qualified recommend for this viewer. Update: Supplier assures me this is the 3x viewer which, reading other reviews of this type of viewer, it may be but it is small compared to the old Photax 3x viewers from 40+ years ago.
