Excellent considering the limitations of size.

Ugly, but good
It's a pity that this product is not as un-obtrusive as the non-passthrough models. The black plastic surround looks dated. I bought two of these, one of which had been a return (the instructions had been scribbled on in biro) but I was charged the same price for both. TP Link help-line said that this was the only model with an AC passthrough which was important for me. Nevertheless, apart from looks, the product works very well so far and has made a huge difference in Wi-Fi strength in the rooms I require since I live in a largish old house with thick brick walls. (I have been able to insert these obtrusive extenders into un-obtrusive sockets)
