Classic self-help from an authority on the subject.
Awaken the giant within, the one with the green cover. Great for motivation and inspiration. Only problem is that each time I read it, I turn into the Incredible Hulk and am now spending a fortune on anger management counselling. No seriously, I read this book about a decade ago and it inspired me to change my life. Of course, you need to act on the advice within but it is quite enlightening, if a little dated in some respects. I also recommend the abridged audio version.

Classic Jackson Browne.
I heard Before the Deluge on Johnny Walker's "sounds of the seventies" and bought this CD. It's my first album of Jackson Browne and it takes me to another time and place. The only comment I would make is that the production is commensurate with the age of the recordings and it shows up on good hi-fi. Lovely cover.
