Twice as useful if it was a little longer
0 of 1 found this helpful I assume the two ends are different, if you need to have it fit into a different housing, as you then just cut the end off you don't need. The odd shaped end enables you to apply leverage to undo/unhook easily from the blocks. But if you can use the other round end, you could use an ordinary brake cable. These are available direct from China at around £2.30 for 10, so it works out slightly cheaper.
You may be able to create two cables out of one, if either end fits into the housing. Just cut in the middle of the cable. The only issue is that it doesn't make a very long cable, so you are unable to release the brake blocks by unhooking it, so you have to undo the holding nut with a spanner instead.

looks decieve
Very lightweight so didn't think it was up to the job, but pleasantly surprised. Hex key and screws included to attach the foot/top bars to the frame, but you need to ensure the frame is in the correct position, as it can be turned 90 degrees and looks the same, but is too high and seems unsteady.

More suited to drone / model aircraft use.
Wide angled lens ideal for airbourne shots but not for helmet cam use, as the fish eye effect is quite strong. The Mobius 2 can be held vertically, but the image is then also shot vertically ( for some reason that gives problems with some editing packages when you want to convert to another format ). Fixings are more suited to drone/ model aircraft use. I've had to create a magnet holder which holds the camera closer to the helmet, and is more useful as you can quickly remove it to use elsewhere. This would add little to the overall cost, so they should consider adding it. Image quality good though.
