This is a product I had used before against rover ants in AZ. It worked really well.
We have been getting sugar ants in the house so I bought this again. I treated around the outside of the house and we are no longer seeing them in the house.

Great Powerstrip for Aquariums
I bought this so I could access equipment for my 40 gallon from under the stand instead of having to reach behind it. It is running a filter and a heater on the outlet side and the lights on the timer side. This is doing a great job and is exactly what I needed.
