Stanley Fatmax Retractable Aluminium Trimming Knife NO BLADE 0-10-819

good sturdy tool

i have tried several knives to get one that,s comfortable for high usage. this is by far the best so far. the knife also comes with a full pack of heavy duty blades. I have found you have to keep an eye on the release screw as it come loose every now and again when using the knife (maybe better if the construction of the knife was reversed, or left and right hand versions made). it is very easy to change the blade, however i am having a great deal of difficulty moving the blade in and out as the retactable system is very stiff, i am having to leave the screw loose in order to make this action comfortable. i would imagine this problem is isolated to my knife as apposed to the product. This problem incidentally is nothing to do with my previous remark regarding the loosening of the screw during use

sturdy product!

I wanted a good quality but not ridiculously priced baking tray! this item is fitted the bill. I've only used it twice at the moment but it shows signs of very good quality, I doubt its going to warp because its very sturdy and quite heavy! (which suggest to me that its man enough for the job!

great for light office work and filing!!

its a neat looking piece of kit, it does exactly what I needed it for, it does whirl all day and although its not a loud noise it does become annoying. I use it for for light office work and small document filing, With that in mind, I would recommend this unit,
