Does what you'd expect
An excellent bit of kit. At this price it's hardly worth bothering making one. Nice smooth control of the motor.

Caveat emptor

However, they are not CE marked or marked with a British Standard, nor are the supplied adaptors. The adaptor into which the UK plug is fitted does not have an earth pin, so should not be used with any appliance requiring an earth connection.

A great improvement in sound quality.
Working from home, I spend a lot of time listening to the radio and/or music via my PC and a decent quality stereo. The audio card on my PC's motherboard was uninspiring and affected by interference.
It takes only moment or two to install this card and the quality of the sound was noticeably improved. Occasionally, I look up and think "I've never heard that bit before" whilst listening to something I've listened to many times before.
