Not fully waterproof.
After a night of rain there was an inch of water in the bottom despite doming the top to prevent pooling. Gets in via the zip I think. It took 8 towels to mop it out and I purchased another cover to go over the top.

Look on trend as well as being functional

Quality dish
Good solid dish that is easy to clean. Works well too as it has slowed our dog down in how long it takes her to eat her dinner noticeably. The food ia all accessible and she gets every last bit out of the bowl!
