Below average

I wanted a CD which showed the range of sounds that a didgeridoo can make. "Didgeridoo - The Sound of the Outback" did not fulfill my expectations. I kept on skipping through the tracks hoping to hear a difference but they all sounded the same. No bird trills, not the expertise on the instrument I have heard with my own ears in Australia. The CD is a dissapointment.

Good value for the money

For the price it is very good value but the plastic base fitment which takes the metal could have been formed better. Quite some force was required & this stretched the plastic. Also I had to make a cardboard circle with a notch cut out for the middle post as a base for larger cones as they did not sit well without it.

Cats Don't Dance (2002 DVD)

I bought Cats Don't Dance because Scott Bakula (Quantum Leap, Star Trek Enterprise) did the voice over for the main cartoon character, including singing various songs. The main character is Danny, a cat who goes off to Hollywood to make it big. He meets lots of other animals who only get bit parts, humans get the good roles. He comes up against a brat of a child superstar who tries to put him down. Finally, the animals all get to show thier talents to sing & dance in a show of their own. The songs are lively, good triumps over bad & my daughter loves it!
