great idea but not very robust

I bought the leather restorer to use on some car seats which looked a little tired and tatty. i chose this because it was a thick cream, not a runny paint and as the seats are leather and alcantara, I had to be careful not to get the die on the alcantara as it was a lighter colour and would have been impossible to get out. The cloth to apply the cream was in the box and was certainly up to the job, I was worried it might disintegrate but it easily took care of the task and remained intact for use again. The leather cream was simple to apply and dried quickly, I went for a couple of thin coats so I didn't need to wait ages for it to soak in and dry. It was completely absorbed into the leather and didn't sit on top like a paint. The results were excellent, leaving a matt finish to be buffed up afterwards. The colour was consistent and the grain of the leather is unaffected so it still looks natural, exactly what I wanted. I barely used any so a jar of this would easily cover a much larger item like sofa and chairs. Excellent product, easily applied and not too messy, highly recommended. Just remember to wear gloves!

Very good value.
This does what it says. It's a cheap plastic item but at the price it's excellent value and works well. I actually bought it for a DIY job on my car seats that were bobbled and it worked brilliantly. Not sure exactly how long it will last but so far so good.
