Unable to recommend!
Better than previous gripper, but still allows rug movement.
We bought a new carpet and had a surplus which we converted to a rug, with the idea of protecting the carpet in front of the settee.
The original gripper allowed movement of the rug resulting in riding up, a hazard to foot traffic!
Bought this product, experienced an improvement in the stability of the rug, but not 100%.
Riding up not a problem, but movement unacceptable.
Thus, cannot recommend

Lack of British sizes.
Unfortunately, did not have the British ring sizes, which necessitated searching the Internet for conversion tables from American to British sizes. Not a great problem, but inconvenient.
