So interesting you dont want it end.
A follow on from` Earthly Joys` by the same author. Written some years ago, it tells the story of King James 1st & King Charles 1st gardener through historical events. If you enjoy history and/or gardens this will be a book you don't want to put down but also don't want it to end.

One in every room
No longer spend ages looking for either a stylus or pen, both together and working well wouldn't be without them. Very good value.

Very amusing / informative look at 1000 years of British/French history
I was first loaned this book by a friend.Although I love France I am sometimes annoyed by their attitude towards us Brits. After reading this highly amusing take on our joint history I now feel a little sorry for them but I must also admit to feeling a bit smug about it all. I enjoyed it so much that I have since bought two more copies to give as presents and I await to hear their reaction.
