One of Nana's Best!
Greek 60's folk music legend Nana Mouskouri's self titled album from 1987 is amazing! Mouskouri's angelic songbird voice lends itself magnificently in performing several classic cover tunes; Nights In White Satin by the Moody Blues is one of several. Backed up by a band and orchestra, the results are hook laden and mind and ear catching. I highly recommend this album. It still holds up pretty good in 2022.

Patti's Most Hard to Find Album-A Must Have
This is a must have for any avid music listener of R&B,Urban Pop-Soul from the 80's.Extremely rare and out of print album and cd by Patti Austin. Vastly underrated title from 1985 that should have received better promotion and a Grammy nod. Top notch producers Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis from Prince's protogee band The Time produced this Austin project before Janet Jackson's Control album. For those familiar with Patti Austin's work in the early to mid 80's with Quincy Jones for Qwest Records this was her peak album from that era.Polished production and various guest artists.Standout tracks include The Heat of Heat,Honey For The Bees, Gettin' Away With Murder (title-track) and Big Bad World (includes background vocals by Chaka Khan and the late Luther Vandross).Song track styles run the gamut from a 50's doo-wop homage opener ,smoldering R&B grooves to toe-tappin' dance tracks and a couple of well written and performed romantic ballads. The prime cut The Heat of Heat was utilized in 1985 as the summertime promo-ad theme for CBS soap series "The Guiding Light"!
