Can use it to find out if that’s the issue but, not for permanent fix. Get the oem part once you know it works.

Heat shrink connectors
Bought these as an alternative to soldering and heat-shrink. thought having a 2 in 1 product would be better and easier. Not the case, I heated these things so long they started to melt and the solder never fused with the wire. In other words it didn’t solder. Good idea but need to work on the soldering part of the system. I tried melting one by itself and no luck. Used two different heat guns with no luck. Frustrating , I guess o go back to old school solder first then heat shrink.
