For the price very nice
1 of 1 found this helpful Can't beat it for the money. First change the strings , buy some C 6th pedal steel guitar strings. At the time when your are changing the strings add some foam under the pickup so that when you raise the pickup up closer to the strings that it is not loose. One of my legs the end that has the threaded end went up inside the tube. I taped it back in place and on the side of the leg drilled and installed a pop rived to keep it in place for good.Last I raised the legs to the height that I wanted and put some electrical tape around the leg so that it would not move. The knob would at some time loosen up and not be the height that I had it set to .I was very pleased when I first got the lap steel and I am still very pleased with it! You can't go wrong with this lap steel. The things that I described above are things that have to do with ownership not craftsmanship. There is no way that you could build one for this price , I have made several myself in the past. I would give it 6 stars if I could.! Jerry
