    Mobile Budget PC
I bought this netbook used and with a broken touchpad for £82 from Ebay. I then bought a replacement touchpad for £8 (Also from Ebay) and managed to repair it. What is great about these little netbooks are their simplicity. You can pick them up cheap, and get parts fairly easily (Thanks to Ebay) - Even if it breaks, you haven't lost a great deal of money, and can just get another one if it's beyond repair. Not that it is likely to break - They are very hardy. Repairing them is very easy if you're just willing to have a go, and there are plenty of web forums and youtube videos to show you how. You'll just need a set of small screwdrivers, and a bit of care and patience. I love the portable size of the 900A, however the small keyboard does make typing difficult until you get used to it. If you need a larger keyboard, better to opt for something like the 1001HA which has bigger screen and keyboard (My wife has one of those). With 3 USB ports, its not a problem connecting a full size keyboard and mouse, and when I'm at home, I have the VGA connector linked up to my 28" HANNS-G monitor. The video card has no problem supporting 1920x1200 pixels. The fans can be a little noisey (But not unreasonably), and you cannot compare the performance with a full size PC or laptop. Don't attempt to run several things at once. I connected an external CD drive so that I could install Windows XP (It had Linux previously). This was a very easy process. The SSD hard drive is 8Gb, which is pretty small, however I managed to install the full Windows XP Pro, Office 2007 and a few other smaller packages, without any problems. For data storage I picked up a 32Gb Micro SD card with SD adapter. The 900A has an SD card reader built in. If that is not enough space, I have the option of using USB micro sd card readers in the USB ports, or connect up an external hard drive. The EEE PC netbooks are great for playing videos/movies (When connected to a larger monitor or TV). Use the headphone socket to link the sound in to your amplifier or multimedia speakers for a better experience. They would also make a great little music player. I also use the netbook for surfing the web. I picked up the wireless signal from my ADSL modem without any issues. It will stream BBC iplayer, or youtube videos just as well as a full blown PC, and let you surf your fav websites - as long as you don't try to open too many tabs at once in your web browser. So to anyone who has been thinking about netbooks and have a tight budget - Give this one a try and you'll be very happy as long as you use it within it's capabilities.
