Quite the bargain!

Surprising quality at the price. Replaced a rotten old cover 24.25" by 18.5" an absolute treat. Installed it the existing somewhat corroded frame. I will eventually use the supplied plastic frame once the old steel/iron one fails completely. Tested by jumping on it as hard as I could (110kgs +) didn't even feel it deflect! Quick delivery - couldn't really ask for more!

Right Handed Roto Retention Holster & Double Magazine Pouch for PT1911 Handgun

Excellent 1911 Retention Holster. Mag pouch is good too!

Bought this as a punt - we're starting to do plate shooting at our local range and didn't want to spend a fortune on a brand name holster. Admittedly I'm restricted to a CO2 4.5mm bb pistol but the one I have is as close to a 1911 as I could find. No attachments and a stock trigger guard. Not only does this holster fit it perfectly, but it retains it very well too - no chance of release unless the button is pressed. As you reach for the pistol your trigger finger naturally drops onto the button and releases the gun to draw. This happens with great fluidity, there is no scraping, jarring, catching that you may expect from something this cheap. The pistol re-holsters quickly and positively and there is no movement of the holstered pistol. The belt clip fits my 1 1/2" inch belt and cinches in firmly. I suspect it would fit a wider belt too. It is very comfortable on my hip/waist and doesn't stick out too far. The magazine pouch holds 2 magazines face to face - which might impact speed but it does hold them firmly. Both the holster and the pouch are rotationally adjustable - you can see the point of rotation for the magazine pouch in the picture (the lower, larger central hole). I expect everything to loosen up over time and with use but the image above doesn't actually do the product justice - it's much nicer. IMI branding on the rear of the holster and no sprue or other casting/moulding blemishes or imperfections. Surprising quality and definitely worth a trial at this price.
