Alien Resurrection (Playstation 1)

Well, what can I say? It's a Playstation 1 title. So with that said, I guess you would have to be a "retro-gamer" and an Alien fan like myself to fully enjoy the game.
The main reason that I purchased this Playstation 1 game was because I am a HUGE Alien movie franchise fan. Plus, there aren't any video games of this nature available for my Wii or Playstation 2 game consoles. As in, no Aliens first person shooter (FPS) games for either system.
As for the game, it's your basic first person shooter (FPS) video game. I rate it as good, as the graphics and the game controls are a lot better then it's predecessor, Alien Triolgy.
I really only suggest this game to die-hard Alien fans that want a challenging controlled game and can stomach the large pixels of a Playstation 1 game. Though, this time around, both the graphics and controls are a bit more tolerable, but not by much.

Akira Soundtrack Is Unique & Unforgettable
Akira is one of the most memorable anime movies to ever hit the big screen and the anime genre itself. With it's combination of anime style, in depth story telling and the unique soundtrack composed by Geinoh Yamashirogumi, you get nothing but a visual and musical masterpiece. The soundtrack by Geinoh Yamashirogumi is nothing short of brilliant. It combines "new age" electronica with traditional Japanese music to form a unique flavor of a score for the film. You have to go into listing to this soundtrack with an open mind. You have to look at the soundtrack as a combination of traditional and new Japanese sounds. Though, if you watch the film and listen to the soundtrack separately, you can see and hear, that just like old and Neo Tokyo were and are in the film so is Geinoh Yamashirogumi's music score, a little bit of old with a little bit of new. Highly recommend.

Alien Trilogy (Playstation 1)

As for the game, it's your basic first person shooter (FPS) video game. I only rate it as average, as the graphics are so-so and the game controls are below average. As a matter of fact, I believe that the game controls are a bit "clunky" and the first person shooter (FPS) scrolling feature is also a bit on the "clunky" side.
I really only suggest this game to die-hard Alien fans that want a challenging controlled game and can stomach the large pixels of a Playstattion 1 game.
