To be used for inspiration, to take chunks to use here and there in your game, this book is useful. To run as is... it potentially can need some serious work on the part of the DM.

Good book for modeling

I model 28mm sci fi, but still found many useful tips in this book. It is OOP, so prices can vary. It is a magazine style book, had nice pictures and some detailed info around scratch building, painting, modeling, and the craft in general. Beginners or experienced modelers will find it interesting. It's focus is military. The sections on making sure scale is accurate were particularly interesting for me. Its a little dated, but a cool read.
