Biography of Dale Robertson (Tales of Wells Fargo etc) Bucking Hollywood by Susan Robertson
What a truly wonderful account of Dale Robertson’s life as a person, husband, TV/film star and horse breeder plus business man etc etc. Susan Robertson wrote the words that pictured everything that she knew and loved about her husband. If you sit and read every single word slowly it is as if you are sitting, having a coffee, and listening to her stories about Dale both before and after she married him. The only trouble is, of course, that you can’t interrupt her to ask questions! The book is filled with hundreds of photos/pictures. You can read the book, stop and look at the pictures, and then continue reading again. It took several years to produce this book and I think Susan Robertson should be congratulated on putting her thoughts into words and giving us a taste of her life with her husband. Susan has written about the films and TV series with plenty of photographs to illustrate them plus photos of telegrams, pictures from some of the famous people that Dale used to know.
As Gail Page indicated, the editing was not professionally edited. However the editor was, I understand, a professional editor! Despite the mis-spellings, poor punctuations etc, the book really is a wonderful biography of a man who always followed his own way of doing things and refused to be compromised into doing anything he felt was wrong or might lead someone else astray.
The printing is superb. The book itself is a very large book with roughly 400 pages and it weighs 3 ¼ lbs. The printers have ensured that the binding is incredibly strong so there is no chance that the book will fall apart with use. I have given a 5 star rating as this was a biography written with truth, love and respect for a pretty fantastic gentleman who had a massive influence on my life and, I expect, many other lives too!

Best coffee I've had in the UK.
I bought a coffee once at an Airport which was expensive and had no taste and that was about 10 years ago. Since then I bought a cheap but good expresso coffee maker and ordered this particular coffee from Lavazza. I absolutely loved the taste of this coffee and it is my treat to have it with a little whipped cream on top.
