salt away dispenser
the instructions do clearly state that to much water pressure running through the clear plastic salt away holder could damage it. I started mine up gently and with the dial in the salt away position and my hose handle open to allow the water to flow freely through the unit. when I stopped the water flow by releasing the spay handle the bottom of the salt away container immediately cracked with the increase in pressure.
However I did a simple repair by setting off a small amount of epoxy resin in the bottom which sealed and reinforced it and it now works fine.

worth a try before windscreen replacement
i had 2 very close chips so a difficult repair , it is still visible but vastly reduced in appearance
