interesting radio But and a big But
2 of 2 found this helpful It comes with a good idea as in monitor 4 frequecies at the the same time But the software that comes with it doesn't work, had to download the software from the website for KT-8900D-KT-7900D Quadband radio That works but as usual there is no help when you click on help LOL. The USB lead didn't wwork so had to buy one (some of these cheap leads are not very good) But as a friend of my would say "it's just a toy"
Software is basically the same as the Baofeng UV5R.
The connector near the radio is for connecting to the ignition, the fuse is in the cig plug, the microphone is very light and twists around in your hand.
I did look on YouTubes for programming manualy but a bit fiddly plus still needed software for some of the settings to program repeater frequencies.
