No change to design...
re jasnadhim's review: the design is the same, the two bits you cut off are to retain the circuit board and chip cover. The pins tend to break off and stay in the board,; I presume this happens because of previous rough handling when changing battery. Just (carefully) pull the broken tips out of the circuit board and drop it into the new case. Perfect fit!

Bargain!
Nearly half the price I could find elsewhere and much better than all the reviews I read. Does all I need - and who cares about a little rip to the box!
