Comfy. Stays in place. Best not washed.
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this for an Ikea Poang chair. My husband is disabled and sits in it all day (in perfect comfort - well done Ikea!) and he was starting to notice the hardness of the wooden armrests. These sheepskin leather covers have given him the extra comfort he needs. They were easy to fit with Velcro straps which I cut to length and they have stayed in place on this wide, flat yet curving style of armrest. The sheepskin has a lovely, silky soft, luxurious appearance which remains unchanged after several week's use.
They support my husband's elbow and forearm comfortably yet, in hindsight, it might have been better to find some that are long enough for his hands to rest on as well, simply because he spends so long sitting.
Although washable, there are clear instructions that advise wiping, not washing, because the plush appearance of the sheepskin may be lost. Given their daily constant use - even during meal times with the risk of food and drink spillage - I might have to wash them at some point but at least I know in advance that they may not look as silky smooth afterwards but I expect they will still provide the same comfort.
