Great story on beating the odds.
1 of 1 found this helpful This is the story of four boys growing up in a small coal mining town in WV where it seems few escape from a hard life in the coal mines. Based on a true story and the book "Rocket Boys" the quartet are inspired by one boy's dream of becoming a part of America's space race. He is forced to deal with his father's disapproval and his brother's ridicule, but derives tremendous strength from his mother's love and his teacher's belief in his dream. This is an inspiring story for young and old, and especially demonstrates the impact a teacher can have on the lives of students. In the end, the father finally comes to grips with the fact there is no future in the small mining town and finally stands along side his son and embraces his dream. Unfortunately, I first saw this on television and was not aware there is some mild profanity. In addition, there is a brief scene where an alcoholic father is beating his son and scenes where the boys are stealing scrap metal and lumber to help them pursue their rocket building. Despite these unnecessary elements, I believe you will be pleased with the overall message.

Purchased to replace similar unit. Purchased an 3 year Square Trade warranty for $2.50 for additional peace of mind. I’ve used a different model of Garmin refurbished dash cam for years and very pleased. The size of this one allows you to mount it behind the rear view mirror so it’s out of sight.
