Not as sharp as I’d imagined it to be?
1 of 1 found this helpful This lens is superb but I still think digital camera lenses rely on the quality of the CCD to perform?
I have an EOS 500D and the pictures were ok on it, but not as sharp as my 50mm/f1.8 by a long way. This is early days using it, I’m still disappointed in most things digital but we have little choice when we can’t afford to buy full frame professional gear?

Best rods on market for the money!
I bought 3 x 2.75lb originals off eBay last year to accompany my 13ft 3.5lb NGs. With a 2.5oz lead 10lb line and no shock leader I can punch a pva stick around 120-130 yards! The NGs won’t cast 2.5oz without a shock leader as the actions just too fast and puts too much strain on the line? I even used the Greys to fish on a 160 acre gravel pit, this involved boating baits 170-200 yards and they coped easily with the few fish I had. Too many people want fashionable 50mm butt rings and fancy cork, rods are a tool to catch fish... not anglers! If you’re after 3 good all round rods for £130-150 I’d say look no further than the original Greys 2.75 or the rare 3s as you won’t be dissatisfied 👍
