Neurons in Action 2 a solid guide to neural modeling

This book is an excellent introduction to the program NEURON that enables the reader to understand how to model different aspects of the single neuron as well as networks of neurons towards the end. The pace is slow, which is good for those who have almost no experience in running computer simulations. Questions gauging comprehension are spread throughout each chapter. I will say I wish there were more conceptual diagrammatic illustrations (there are a couple chapters that are almost all text). Overall highly recommended.

Sinple presentation but great quality, you won't regret it.

I love this recorder. I am using rechargeable AAA NiMH batteries for extra convenience. The product itself is very light, I'd say 80% of the weight comes from the batteries. Very good sound recording quality, microphones are on either side of the top. The USB connector is an absolute delight, super fast file transfers, I'd say it is essential. My only gripe is there is not backlight to the screen. Other than that, this is a great product for a graduate student like myself!
