It's ok, nothing special
0 of 1 found this helpful When I first played this game over a decade ago, I was blown away. The 3D graphics, the full motion video with real people. Unfortunately, this game did not age as well as many other 3DO games. The graphics look ok at best and the video is not very impressive, not to mention muddy looking. Personally, when recently playing both Shockwave 2 and the original Shockwave, the original is the better of the two. I'm not saying this game is not worth buying, it's just generic feeling compaired to some other 3DO titles. For a great action shooter game for the system, check out Killing Time. It might be a bit more than this game, but it's well worth it.

Tempest X3 is essentially Tempest 2000.
Very fun game. I had Tempest 2000 on the Atari Jaguar. This is pretty much the same game, only way cheaper. Buy it before it gets overpriced like Tempest 2000.

Stay away bowling is not fun forever
4 of 7 found this helpful This sytem is an overpriced piece of junk. The system and it's games wear very short very quickly. If people loved to bowl so much, guess what? people would go bowling a lot more frequently. The graphics are horrible too. Plus with all the add ons like Gamecube controllers and memory cards, you'll end up spending just a much as you would for a PS3. No thanks.
