Lovely phone
I'm not a techie person, so can't comment on those things. But I know what I like and what I don't. I like Samsung - this is my second Samsung phone, I once had a Genio Touch, and like that, this phone has a lovely smooth organic feel in the hand, like a highly polished pebble! It's a pleasure to handle, you don't want to put it down! I find it very intuitive to find my way round, and set it up the way I want. I did that the day I got it, expecting it would be days before I found everything. I love the front and back camera - that's new on me! The screen is a good size and bright and clear, and very smooth and responsive. What I find irritating is how easy it is to add pages - you can add and delete your pages to store all your apps and widgets, which is nice, but a few times I've gone and added a couple without realising it which is irritating! And the volume button is opposite the power button on the other side, and so I keep putting it on silence when I'm trying to put it to sleep! Because of the position of my hand. And when you plug it in to charge, there aren't any lights to tell you when it's charging and when it's complete, so you have to look at the battery indicator.

Delightful little game
This game is a surprising hit on Board Game Geek which is an online forum for serious gamers, into wargames and heavy Euro worker-placement and other such geekery. By comparison to some of those this game seems a bit twee. But it's a little gem of a game - suitable for families or as a lightweight filler game for gamers between the biggies. The theme is just genius - cat owners will get it perfectly. For instance any cat owner with a fussy cat will understand why you're penalised for uneaten cat food. It's quick - you can play it inside half an hour! There's just enough complexity in gathering sets of cards or acquiring the right food for your cats to make it interesting to those used to weightier games. But it's straightforward enough to teach the family quickly. This is going to come out on our table often!
