Reasonable value for money, but with potential reliability issues.
2 of 2 found this helpful If you want a refrigerator without an ice-box compartment and you're on a budget then this is the one for you. Lots of internal space thanks to well-designed shelving. It runs very quietly and seems to be very efficient. The door hinge can be reversed. It seems well-constructed, and gives the impression of being a quality item that I believe will last well.
Update - Jan 2013:
The refrigerator failed at the end of December 2012 with the problem being a faulty compressor. When I took it to the waste disposal centre, there was another of exactly the same model right in front of me. Having investigated this further on the internet it seems that this model is somewhat prone to such failures after a few years, so perhaps not the bargain I thought it was initially.

Suitable only for light or occasional use.
This cutter isn't particularly well-made, thus it will neither stand heavy nor repeated use. Nonetheless, it's relatively cheap, so if you want one for light or occasional work that needn't be that accurate, then it might be cost-effective.

This is a first class satellite navigation device.
1 of 1 found this helpful My previous satnav was a TomTom GO 540 Live, so this review is in many ways a comparison between the two devices. It seems that TomTom have totally changed their focus from features to reliability. Gone are many of the options for cosmetic customisation and Live features such as weather and more importantly, fuel prices - indeed I feel that the loss of this function is the single biggest failing of the 5000. Instead TomTom have totally streamlined the system and produced a very reliable device that offers first class navigation functionality and nothing else. The 540 wasn't very reliable, being prone crashes/reboots and the intermittent failure of various features, but the 5000 has proved itself to be very stable indeed. So, if you want a satnav that gets you from A to B by the best route, warning you of speed cameras and avoiding traffic where possible, then the 5000 is the device for you.
