Better than a Stella
1 of 1 found this helpful Cost wise and performance wise I rate these Slammer 3 reels very highly. Have had both Stella and Slammer - the Slammer is just so strong....without the ridiculous price tag.

Bulletproof reel
After spending big and owning a Stella, I made a decision to try the Slammer 3 reels. And boy am I glad I did. So much cheaper, was able to sell my Stella and get two Slammers (with some change left over). In my opinion Slammer 3 are every bit as good and maybe even better.

Best reel I own when looking at a cost to performance/reliability ratio
Quality reel for a fraction of the high end price. Would easily compete with a my saltist for reliability with such a solid structure that when playing a large fish, there are no worries about parts bending, breaking and failing in general. Wouldn't hesitate to buy two of these for one high end reel.
