Life-changing

Simply life-changing. One of the most interesting and instructive books I have read. It led me to change diet, habits, routines that have been established all my life. It led me to read and research into areas that I had never thought about before. It is still influencing me now as I continue to explore along the many avenues that this amazing book opened for me. Its influence spread to my immediate family and my friends. It is a life-affirming experience to read this book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Various Artists - Futuro Flamenco Vol.1 (CD 2002)

I prefer more traditional flamenco music and this is a little too jazzy and like elevator muzak for my liking. Okay if you like that sort of thing - perhaps if you are an ageing Málaga tax driver wanting to impress his clients that he's "with it"! The Manillas de Plata track was pleasant but I could take or leave the rest. Something about mixing electric and accustic in flamenco unsettles me - unless it is individualistic and skilful - a rare combination in this genre. I bought it and sold it straight away again on eBay. The joy of eBay!
