A great game, with some slight issues
1 of 1 found this helpful First off, this was an amazing feat for Bungie back in 2004. While some things were cut, I think that their long hard hours of work really paid off. The campaign leaves off where Combat Evolved left off, then throws you straight back into the action as the covenant board your ship. The campaign feels slightly longer than CE, but this is only in the amount of levels; overall it feels about the same. There are a few issues with split-screen coop, one of which is the frame rate dropping but this is generally manageable, but the worst problem I have is the split-screen being vertically split with no way to change it (or I haven't found one). While trivial, this is a slight issues after playing Halo 3, Reach and ODST on split-screen for 2.5 years. I haven't really played the multiplayer but from what I have, I can only wish for time to go back to 2005 when this was in its Hay day!
Overall, this is an excellent purchase, and not one that I'll be re-selling any time soon.
