My first forge

I bought this forge to have a go at knife making and it's perfect. Gets nice and hot quickly and now I've stopped opening the chokes too far the metal gets to working temperatures quickly enough and doesn't scale up. It's quiet enough not to be antisocial (never mind the hammering!) and it's small enough to pick up and put away once cool. Easy to assemble and as promised by the boys in Latvia arrived in about a week and I could track it all the way across Europe. All in all, very pleased. Just mind your fringe!!
