Reluctant Reviewer
1 of 1 found this helpful I had to say yes to 2 questions with considerable reluctance on the value question. Quality, at least in my mind, has to do with usability, This blast cabinet is a long way from being usable as received.
Found out the interior light is an option only after receiving it. For the money paid, the light should most definitely be included and installed.
Which comes to the assembly, without modifications and additional hardware, there is no way the provided seal for the viewing plexiglass to the cabinet can be used. The hinge must be raised by using the alternative hardware, the provided hardware will not work with this seal. I see why the unit is shipped with the plexiglass not installed, the cabinet requires rework, the holes for the hinge had to be reworked to make the plexiglass line up and fit the opening properly.
The vent on the back is a joke, it should be provided with some method of attaching a hose to vent the unit. Additional plastic couplings will need to be purchased to make the vent work properly.
Also added bulkhead fittings for getting the air hose and the drain functional, for this price, these should have been provided.
The support screen that lays in the bottom is very flimsy and requires reinforcement so it will provide proper support for anything other than very small pieces being blasted.
The cavities in the legs being stuffed with foam, another joke, filled these with Quikrete (Vinyl Concrete Patcher), something else that could be done by the manufacturer, otherwise, these will be a continuous ongoing mess to clean out.
Had to add a ridge around the outside perimeter of the projections inside the cabinet where the gloves attach, otherwise, without a ridge as delivered, the gloves slip away and end up inside the cabinet, which defeats the entire purpose of having a blast cabinet.
Well, you asked, and these are my truthful critiques, take em or leave em but I am not spending any more money sending this thing back and be out more than $60 and not have anything and I have already made most of the modifications.. Costs way too much for what was delivered. Should be at least $100 less, which is about what I'm putting into it to make it functional. The unit pictured on the internet appears to be a functional unit, it is not.

Great way to fix a bad Triumph design.
Well designed and well made, would recommend to anyone who has this dumb, flimsy, seemingly dangerous triple tree design still on their early "70s Triumph.
