APC BE700G-UK UPS / new batteries / 12M RTB / standard plug

Descent NAS and PC Protection

Did quite a bit or research as I wanted a UPS to protect my Synology NAS and my Mac. APC are a make I know well and used amongst professionals. The size is slightly smaller than I expected which was a pleasant surprise. I like the fact that it is just normal UK plugs rather IEC connectors the are on a lot of UPS equipment. Just needed a Rj45 data to Usb cable to connect between your computer so that it knows when the UPS is on battery power (mine didn't come with one but they are easy to find on eBay). All in all very happy and would recommend.
