Is DIO trying to sound like OZZY?
As an album its alright, it sounds more like ozzy's black sabbeth, as opposed to the Heavcen and Hell album which is all DIO. I got the feeling they were trying to compete with KING OZZY, and that shouldn't be done. DIO is the GRANDMASTER of epic, mythalogical, power vocal face melters and that what he should stick to.
It is a fairly good album, just dont get that excited about it.

A mixed album
Some of the tracks on this album are actualy fantastic, for example Black Sabbath and N.I.R. Other not quite as good, but well worth a listen for any metal or prog blues fan.
