Thin and coarse
4 of 4 found this helpful My expectations had been that the alpaca fleece (30%) would make this scarf feel extra soft. Reviews elsewhere had been favourable about this product. Unfortunately, I think that it feels quite thin and coarse and not as soft as a lot of my acrylic only scarves. I am disappointed as I purchased these scarves as extra special presents. Pure alpaca fleece scarves are very expensive, so I guess I shouldn't have expected much for the price!

A fun and informative pictorial guide book
Highly recommended, We loved this book.
This book is an entertaining, fun and informative way to learn about Japan and it it's customs, foods, lifestyes etc.
It is made up of colourful sketches with explanatory comments. It covers the seasons, festivals, clothing, food, traditional inns and onsens,architecture, street fashion, traditions, toilets and lots of curious oddities to the european traveller.
It is great for adults or children and gives you a real unique flavour about Japan and some of the things you will encounter.
Also if you like this author she has gone on to do a further clueless in Tokyo, and a shushi guide!

very funny
This is a compilation cd about the 4 seasons through out the year. It is a good mixture of Pam Ayres comedy sketches (featuring other actors), poems and recollections - many of which will have your rolling about with laughter. I have listened to this cd several times and it never fails to amuse. This is definately a keeper.
