Good back to basic fun
1 of 1 found this helpful Doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of a MPC X but that’s a good thing. Too much is sometimes a down fall. SP 16 let’s me create more from scratch without menu diving and forces me to make efficient decisions with what is available and I enjoy that. Don’t get me wrong there are some basic editing features that are missing like trim,fades,normalize etc. but again it makes me think of ways to get around it and have fun in the process.

Good quality but buggy!
I guess you really have to have the patience to enjoy a step sequencer. After a few hours the novelty wore off. Had to hard reset to get back to a clean slate because pattern clears would not erase the data. Not hard to program but just tedious. Build quality is good. We will have to see. Maybe there is a hidden gem in this thing that will inspire me..
