Misunderstood Technology
4 of 4 found this helpful First off a sprint booster adds 0BHP to your Mini, but it does make the most of what you already have.
The R53 Cooper S has a very docile throttle pedal. You blip it and there’s a delay before the engine responds.
Sprint Booster removes this lag and allows you to find the perfect setting for your driving style. It does this by adjusting the signal sent to the throttle body at a given pedal position, so you can get to wide open throttle with less of a pedal press than as standard.
Red 9 for example is pretty brutal on the road, but great on track. You barely breathe on the pedal and the engine responds.
The product is easy to fit, good quality and great value in my opinion.
