Maintaining longcase clocks
The emphasis is on the clock mechanism with little on dealing with the hood and case. It would have been helpful if all the parts of the mechanism of a longcase clock had been given a full description. In addition there was no advice given as to how to properly clean the brass base and capitals of the columns on the hood and trunk.
