1 of 1 found this helpful It's been forever since I read the book. Therefore watching this is a whole new experience.
It is beautiful done, the script is is excellent, and the actors know their parts.
What I do remember of the story is nothing like the book. I see scenes that look right, just not as I remember.
No that not a bad thing. The script is excellent. Yes I'm sure some scene are cut or compressed. But watching it one would not realize.
I have waited for this to come out, and I like what I am seeing.

Miyamoto Musashi , the man
I will leave the description to the above blurb. If you are interested in the originally samurai story this is a great book. The author is an expert in this field, and has spent a good deal if his life researching and translating the information. Now don't get me wrong, there are other books on his fighting ideas. This is a biography so to speak of Miyamoto Musashi. It is well written am
