Not silver.
If you are expecting silver (zinc) you'll be disappointed. It's brass color (with the low gear cog black like in the picture) Quality is likely the same. Made in China. Does the job.

Remarkable.
Works perfectly on my 7 speed freewheel. These derailleurs were built to function and last. Great upgrade from a Sachs Huret of the same period. Remarkable condition. It's like it was time warped and is better than New Old Stock.
