Comprehensive seal kit with essential schematic.
This seal kit has everything you need for the Aqualisa brass-bodiied valve and has a very helpful, nay, essential, schematic which tells one where the respective 'o' rings are supposed to be fitted - and to match, all the 'o' rings are identified with a little label, the labels easily removed even with silicon-greasy-fingers. I think it would have been helpful to know that the white plunger seal component (shown in red on the schematic) is supposed to come out from the front without removing the entire thermostatic valve from the body... our plunger was pretty immobile in the tube but a bit of (scary) persuasion got it out!
I think these Aqualisa valves are a bit of a nightmare - but if you are unfortunate to have believed Aqualisa's sales pitch, this seal set may stop the leak. It seems tohave been successful for us.
Thank you Martin's Servioces and Supplies, aka bargaincity auctions.

The correct part - not much more to say
Exactly what my wife needed to replace the knackered one.

Keeps out the rain, let’s the air circulate
1 of 1 found this helpful I had a conversation with a roofer the other day who (said he) hadn’t come across the c cap product and was rather disparaging about it. It is well constructed, keeps out the rain, let’s the air circulate: what more could one ask? I used this product on two redundant chimneys in Thetford 6 years ago. They are still there having been through storm and tempest; the chimneys remain dry and I am completely satisfied with this product.
