Medisure Pill Tablet Splitter Cutter Medicine Half Storage Box

Works well but does not suit all pills
A quality product supplied packed in retail blister packaging. A V shaped guide keeps the pill central to ensure exact halves. It is only practical for round pills, it is very hard to align oval pills and keep them in position whilst bringing down the cover with the blade. Round pills need to be at least 5mm diameter otherwise they will fall through the gap at the tip of the V. It is also useful for halving artificial sweeteners. Many makes are too small but the 5mm diameter Silver Spoon sweeteners are just OK.
Epson XP-455 Wireless All in One Printer With Ink Scanner Wi-Fi Inkjet Wifi

Scan to cloud is good
I bought this for the 'scan to cloud' function which allows a non computer user to send handwritten documents by email using just the front panel controls (an email address list must first be entered on a PC via a user account). Initial setting up was difficult. The USB link was easily established on the PC. The wireless link from printer to the router also worked after entering the pass key on the printer front panel. But when setting the wireless link to the PC it would not find the printer. I discovered the trick was to power cycle the router and try again. The in and out trays and keyboard all fold away when not in use making the printer look neat. Personally I think the black model XP-452 looks better. Printing is reasonably fast but there can be quite a long period of clunking and whirring before print actually starts. I presume this is due to priming the print head. On my previous XP-422 model I was pleased that the print heads remained working well even after gaps of weeks without use but I eventually left it too long and the print heads stopped working and the usual head clean cycles didn't solve it. There are techniques on the internet to physically clean the heads but as far as Epson is concerned your printer is scrap at that point.
